In-depth monitoring of surface characteristics and structural changes in block copolymer nanoparticles using tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy

The project will investigate structure-property relationships of core-corona and core-shell-corona nanoparticles based on block copolymers with nanometer resolution using plasmon based near-field optical spectroscopy. As such materials are potential drug delivery systems, we will focus on correlations of particle morphology and chemical structure with specific absorption and release properties under varying environmental conditions (pH value, temperature, salt concentration).
